FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Below you can find questions that are most important to my clients.
Coaching for Individuals
What’s the best way to get started?
- You can start by taking an Assessment Quiz to find the right service for you and by checking out other client’s testimonials.
- Reading testimonials can help you get a sense of whether what a specific coach has to offer resonates well with your needs. Feel free to read my client testimonials.
- The next step could be a free Introductory Call with me where we briefly discuss your current situation and where you want to go. The call is about understanding whether there is the right chemistry and whether my style and approach align well with what you need.
- If you feel my approach, fees and background align with what you’re seeking, you are welcome to request an Introductory Call.
How do I know we get along?
Before you decide to start coaching with me, I offer a free Introductory Call. This call is a conversation to see whether my style and approach align well with what you need and if we are a good fit to work together.
Will the coaching sessions be confidential?
Yes. Whatever topics are discussed during sessions remain between you and me, establishing a safe space for open dialogue. Confidentiality is one of the main pillars of the coaching relationship and refers to the my commitment to keeping my client’s personal and shared information private.
What languages will the coaching sessions be in?
We offer sessions in both, English and German.
How long do people work with coaches?
Typically, overcoming deep-seated obstacles requires more than a single session to achieve substantial progress. The clients who get the benefit most from coaching are those who have a strong commitment to their goals over the period of 3-9 months, recognizing that meaningful transformation takes time. My 12-session program over six months is the most popular option. However, I offer the flexibility for clients to adjust the pace to their needs.
How much time will this require from me besides the 40 or 60-minute coaching sessions?
The program is designed for you to be able to achieve insights and growth in the sessions. But based on my experience, your success will be directly related to how much time and space you allocate for reflections and completing the action steps you chose – which is where the real transformation happens.
What does a coaching session look like?
The first step is always to define specific goals that you would like to achieve. At the beginning of each session we review the goal that you want to focus on and strategies that will get you there.
During the session, the aim is for you to gain clarity on your goals and the steps you want to take. We review actions that you might have already taken and uncover possible insights connected to them.
The end of each session is dedicated to a recap and the take away of possible action steps that will bring you closer to your goal.
On what platform will the coaching take place?
The coaching can either be done in person (only available in Barcelona, Spain) or online. If you decide to have online sessions you can choose between different platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.
What exactly is the difference between the programs?
Whether you are looking at sustained development or wish to resolve a pressing challenge, Elevating Origins has a solution to fit your needs. Overall, there are three coaching services that cater to diverse objectives and timeframes: Single sessions and two types of programs.
In a nutshell, our programs are comprehensive journeys that help you reaching your targets through consistent, long-term growth.
- The EVOLVE Program is aiming for depth and discovery, focusing on achieving up to three core goals.
- The RISE Program is tailored for swift, targeted progress, ideal for those with limited time seeking results in one specific area.
In contrast, our Single Coaching Sessions address immediate concerns, offering on-the-spot insights and strategies for specific situations, without the extended commitment of a program.
What exactly is the Introductory Call?
The Introductory Call is a complimentary session that allows us to explore your goals and determine how my coaching services can align with and support your aspirations. It’s a no-pressure opportunity for us to assess our potential fit before committing to the coaching process.
Feel free to book the Introductory Call for whenever suits you best.
How does the payment work?
You have decided on starting your coaching journey and chosen the service that works best for you. Congratulations!
Now you would like to move forward and pay in order to get started, but there is no button that leads to payment. This is because before we embark on this journey together, I offer you a free session where we can test the waters, see if we click and if I am the right person for your specific situation. The call is without commitment and once we decide we will continue together, I will send you a link for the payment which allows you to enter your card details or pay via transfer.
So please go ahead and click on the booking button under your coaching offer of choice or click on the “Book a Call” option. I am looking forward to speaking to you.
What happens if I miss a session?

Why should I choose Elevating Origins? What is so special or different?
The world of coaching is as diverse as the individuals it serves, with each coach bringing a unique perspective to the table. Therefore I believe it is less about standing out and more about the right fit. Each coach has their distinctive touch, but no single approach is the panacea for all. While I may not claim to hold the secret to a universally happy life, my coaching style and programs have been instrumental in the personal and professional evolution of many people.
The essence of my coaching is about connection and suitability. It is a collaborative process, deeply attuned to your individual needs and goals. The real question isn’t what makes my coaching special, but whether it resonates with you and feels conducive to your growth journey.
I warmly invite you to book a complimentary Introduction Call with me. It’s an opportunity for us to explore if my approach resonates with you and if together, we can unlock the transformative power of coaching to start your journey towards your goals.
Are you a Certified Coach?
Yes, i hold the ACC (Associate Certified Coach) title with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Coaches need to have completed 60+ hours of coaching education, 10 hours of Mentor Coaching, 100+ hours of coaching experience, a performance evaluation and an evaluation on coaching ethics and standards (ICF Credentialing Exam), to be accredited this title. What are the Standards and Ethics of Coaching?
The International Coaching Federation has established their standards and ethical guidelines for the coaching community. See the Standards and Ethics page on the ICF website.
What are benefits of Coaching?
Generally, people who go through a coaching program will gain clarity on their life aspirations and pursue them more actively, having overcome the hurdles that once hindered their progress. This newfound clarity will contribute to a more fulfilling and joyful existence in all facets of life. In their professional sphere, they will be more effective and skilled, leading to improved outcomes in their work and career.
How will I know Coaching is working for me?
At the end of a coaching session, whether it’s with me or another coach, I’d encourage you to reflect whether you have learned something new about yourself and gained clarity on your situation. I wouldn’t claim that coaching brings about instant revelations, but I firmly believe that with each session, you should feel like you’re connecting the dots and gaining a new awareness about yourself, which leads you to new actions and new outcomes in your life.
How is Coaching different to Therapy or Counseling?
Coaching is distinct from therapy or counseling in its primary focus and objectives. While therapy and counseling often aim to alleviate psychological and physical distress, addressing past issues to improve one’s current state, coaching is future-oriented and concentrates on goal achievement. In coaching, the emphasis is on the present moment and carving out a path towards envisioned aspirations, rather than delving into and resolving past traumas or difficulties.
How is Coaching different to Training?
The key difference between coaching and training lies in the roles of the facilitators and the nature of the learning process. Training is a process where the trainer, holding expertise in a particular area, imparts specific skills or knowledge to the trainees. Conversely, coaching is a non-directive form and relies on the power of asking questions rather than instruction. While a coach may facilitate learning and discovery, the coach is not positioned as the subject matter expert; instead, the client is encouraged to find their own solutions and strategies through guided questioning.
How is Coaching different to Mentoring?
Unlike mentoring, which typically involves a more experienced individual within a specific field offering advice and guidance to a less experienced person, coaching does not require the coach to be an expert in the client’s industry. The coach’s role is not to provide business-specific wisdom but to support the client in unlocking their own potential and insight. Through effective questioning techniques and a collaborative partnership, a coach helps the client navigate their own challenges and opportunities within their business context.

I am proud to hold the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential with the ICF. Attaining the ACC designation requires a rigorous process that includes the completion of at least 60 hours of coaching education, 10 hours of Mentor Coaching, and more than 100 hours of client coaching experience.
